Technobake is structured to run a continuous improvement loop of implementation, analysis and design change. Each lifecycle component generates the data required to reduce failures, improve serviceability, and lower lifetime cost over time.

Technobake has an in-house engineering team focused on reducing total cost of ownership and improving the reliability and serviceability of Roastrunner ovens.

We bring mechanical, software, electrical, and electronic engineering together with prototype development, supplier evaluation, and international procurement. Design changes are informed by field performance and failure analysis, and we document repair processes to support rapid, repeatable field repairs.

Technobake retains full design authority and manufacturing oversight through a long-term partnership with Fabtek, a contract manufacturer with modern, scalable systems.

Production is supported by ERP-based control, precision sheet-metal fabrication, robotic welding, and in-house surface finishing to maintain repeatable quality and controlled tolerances. Fabtek is SMETA-audited, and Roastrunner ovens are assembled by a dedicated team with deep product experience across assembly, testing, and quality assurance.

Our service technicians and engineers provide installation and installation support throughout Australia and the Pacific. This includes CAD modelling and custom fabrication for adaptor components where required, so sites can be brought online quickly and safely.

Technobake developed ARGUS, a proprietary remote monitoring system that provides real-time visibility of oven performance and automated alerts for critical failure conditions.

ARGUS helps identify progressive degradation before functional failure, supporting proactive maintenance planning and reduced unplanned downtime. Alerts enable immediate triage, prioritisation, and dispatch, and technicians can support operators remotely with live access to oven status and sensor data.

Our service division delivers scheduled maintenance and rapid response to unplanned breakdowns, supported by a national service coordination team. We deploy in-house technicians and approved specialist contractors where appropriate, while maintaining consistent service standards.

Technicians operate fully equipped vehicles with Roastrunner-specific parts and diagnostic tools, backed by a central parts division with same-day dispatch and regional stock of critical heavy components. Service performance is actively monitored, including response times and first-time fix rates.

Technobake operates a dedicated end-of-life refurbishment program. Ovens are fully disassembled, deep-cleaned, and rebuilt, with wearing parts upgraded to the latest designs.

Heavy steel structures typically support up to 20 years of service life, reducing embodied carbon and capital expenditure. Refurbishment also provides insight into long-term wear patterns and component performance, feeding directly into design, procurement, and reliability improvements.

Technobake undertakes periodic failure analysis by component to determine root cause. That analysis informs design and procurement decisions, and sustains an ongoing cycle of reliability improvement across the Roastrunner fleet.
